CHATEAURENARD, city of the Bouches-du-Rhône, situated between the Alpilles mountains and the Durance river, belongs to the country of Arles , the heart of Provence

Our group, l'Escolo di tourre (school of the tours), was created in 1922 by Antoine GINOUX, a “felibre” (academician of the Provençale litterature), to defend the Provence culture and traditions. More than eighty years later, our goal is still to maintain and to spread our traditions.

The genuiness of our dances and regional costumes have been conforted by long researches with our elders.

Our association, only composed by non professionals volunteers, participates in numerous events each year.
